Everyone I Know is Pregnant.

So far there are probably 23 girls in my ward that are pregnant, plus my sister. I feel like I cannot stop looking at children. Today, I waved at a little boy while my friend tried on a fabulous outfit for her in-law family pictures. He smiled at me and attempted to wave and then grabbed his mom's cell phone pretending to talk. Something about those babbling words is like music to my ears.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Adrian and I FINALLY put up our Christmas decorations! They are small but so cute and quite a few because Mom Meijome sent us a Christmas box last year with all of Adrian's tree decorations. We also have a snowman making kit which we will most likely take advantage of if it snows again. It has a scarf and a pipe and little wooden eyes! Adrian and I are excellent makers of snowpeople...and Adrian is an excellent shoveler of snow! The picture of Adrian with the snowman is from last year in our backyard and the Tree is from this year. Merry Christmas! Or, as it is said in the world of Harry Potter, Happy Christmas!

I am really bad at this...

So I realize that I am terrible at posting on our blog. In fact, I am having deja vu so I may have actually said this all before. The truth is, a lot of things happen, and it is just a matter of getting it all in order and writing it down. Adrian got an internship with Citibank in Ft. Lauderdale so that is where we are heading for the Winter! It is one of the best opportunities we could have asked for and we are very grateful for it.

In September Adrian turned 23! It sounds so old, but it isn't, I don't know if we will ever grow up. Not that we want to. : )

This Thanksgiving and Christmas we are heading up to Washington, and then driving to Florida. Don't worry we have books on tape.

For Halloween Adrian and I were Yoshi and Princess Peach from Mario Kart. Honestly, I felt like our costumes were the best for the low budget we had, but people kept thinking that we were the princess and the frog, just because Adrian's Yoshi eyes were so small.

Up to Date

A lot has happened lately! Adrian and I have been going through the same ole' here at the resort, at least concerning work. We have been to the beach a few times and to Charleston twice. (Coolest!) One our absolutely favorite experiences though was at the Medieval Times! We had the chance to sit in the Green Section and root for the bad knight! Needless to say, we were told that we were the loudest Green Section that they have ever heard! We even made the King laugh when we booed at him during the "Tournament." All is bright here in South Carolina, and we can't wait to get back to Utah for school.

Internship

Adrian and I have decided to take a little trip to Surfside Beach, SC. We are here to learn the tricks of the trade to Resorts. It has been more than that though. We have been all over the place from Myrtle Beach to Charleston, but mainly, we have been in little Surfside Beach where the water is warm and there is enough room on the beach to play Bocce Ball.

Adrian is shadowing the Property Manager, and I am working in activities. Basically, Adrian gets paid to get great business experience, and I get paid to play with kids all day. It is a great situation for us!

Welcome to the East Coast.

Here comes sweet summer...

Well, Adrian and I are getting ready for summer. And so are the trees all over Provo. Provo is really nice in the summer, but we are so ready to get out and drive across the country for our internship. Right now we are packing and studying and cleaning so not much fun, but that is the price you pay for a good summer. We don't even have to bring any of our dishes! What a steal.

No School

The title is deceiving we know. However, we say "No School" nearly everyday before we go to bed and when we get up. This way we get excited for the summer and feel down about the current obligations of school. It's your classic two bird with one stone situation.

This summer Adrian and I are going to South Carolina for an internship. We are very excited! We are going to do such things as Property Management (Adrian) and Recreational Activities (Me) and play the guitar whenever we want : )
